Brittni Glass: Jovan Belcher Parties, Spends the Night with Another Woman Before Killing Girlfriend Kasandra M. Perkins in NFL Murder-Suicide
Details surrounding the tragic NFL murder-suicide involving former Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher and his 22-year-old girlfriend Kasandra M. Perkins just keep getting more shocking and complicated. According to recent reports, Belcher actually spent the night before the killings (which occurred on Saturday, Dec. 1) partying with another young woman identified as Brittni Glass. The New York Post claims that the two had dinner and drinks at a local tavern Friday evening before Belcher followed Glass back to her home. Neighbors insist that Belcher then spent the next several hours passed out in his car in front of the house before being confronted by police and eventually wandering into Glass' building. The next morning, he tragically shot the mother of his three-month-old daughter multiple times and then committed suicide at the Chiefs' Arrowhead Stadium.
According to the Post, Belcher allegedly spent the evening partying with Glass in downtown Kansas City in a prominent bar area deemed the Power and Light District. Belcher then escorted Glass home, but instead of following her inside, he passed out in his car for several hours. Local law enforcement roused him at around 2:30 a.m. - Belcher then wandered into Glass' building and didn't reemerge again until approximately 6:45 a.m. He then drove the 10-minute trip back to the home he shared with Perkins.
One eye-witness said about the late-night visit - "[Belcher's] Bentley was parked outside. He went upstairs. He was drunk. He went up to see the girl.''
Glass also reluctantly confirmed the late-night rendezvous to the Post - "I was with him that night, that's it." Glass insists that they were not in a relationship, and failed to provide details as to where exactly Belcher slept.
Glass' neighbors claim that they have spotted Belcher's distinctive black Bentley at her building several times in the past few months.

This report conflicts with the previous story concerning a fight Belcher had with Perkins after she returned home late from a Trey Songz concert at about 1 a.m. If Belcher had indeed spent the night with Glass, he wouldn't have been home at the time of the supposed heated argument.
No matter what the sequence of events prior to Saturday's tragic murder-suicide, reports remain consistent that Jovan was in a very troubled state-of-mind at the time of the tragedy, and that he and Perkins had been having trouble with their relationship and were attending counseling (funded by Chiefs officials).
Thoughts and condolences go out to the Belcher and Perkins families and the NFL community during this time of ongoing loss and sorrow.
