First Christina Aguilera, and now Little Mix; it seems that these starlets can't help but poke fun at Britney Spears. While the Las Vegas songstress might have turned her latest single "Pretty Girls" into a pretty decent hit, it seems that the X-Factor girl group couldn't help but point out that they turned down the song when they were going to record it. The song might be burning up the airwaves now with the help of Brit's vocal partner Iggy Azalea, but it seems that Perrie Edwards and her crew didn't think the song was good enough for them.

According to E! News, the gals might have written the song for themselves, but after feeling that they could do better, they gave it up and Spears nabbed it.

In an interview with The Sun, band member Jade Thirlwall opens up about the songwriting process, saying that the band wrote it with Maegan Cottone, but that they didn't want to keep it for their record.

"We loved the song but it wasn't really for us so we put it out there and, lo and behold, Britney wanted it."

While the gals should be happy that the Queen of Pop wanted their song they couldn't help but put "Pretty Girls" down.

"We've been away a while because we wrote an album, sat with the label and we though, 'Nope, it's not good enough,'" one of the members of the group, Jesy Nelsom explained. "We recorded a whole album but we're perfectionists and knew we could do better. So we scrapped it and started again."

We bet Britney is laughing all the way to the bank with the groups abandoned track.
