Kristen Stewart New 'Twilight' Crush Kellan Lutz? Robert Pattinson Break-Up & FKA Twigs Engagement Sparks 'Proud' Praise Amid Lesbian Buzz
Kristen Stewart always stays true to herself - and former "Twilight" co-star Kellan Lutz totally respects the 25-year-old beauty for that.
Well - would they actually make a cute "young Hollywood" couple?
The 30-year-old "Immortals" heartthrob reveals that he was initially pinning for the role of K-Stew's brother in the award-winning film, "Still Alice." The part of Tom Howland ultimately went to Hunter Parrish. But Lutz only had kind things to say about Robert Pattinson's ex in a recent interview with Elle.com:
"Brilliant script. Everyone killed it. I mean, what a great movie. I read the script and I was like, 'I want this.' I even hit Kristen up and was like, 'Put in a good word!'"
Lutz then continues:
"Regarding Kristen, you know, I'm proud of her for being herself. Times have changed now - there's a lot of invasion of privacy and a lot of ruined moments. What [the paparazzi] take, capture, and release is often taken as a reflection of who that person is."
What a huge compliment! Lutz and Stewart spent tons of time together on (and off) screen while filming the hit "Twilight" movie series. Obviously, a very strong friendship grew from their experiences. But could things ever turn romantic?
"The Legend Of Hercules" hottie broke-up with Australian actress Sharni Vinson back in May 2013 (after two years of dating). Apparently, he hasn't been involved in a serious relationship since then. Same goes for Stewart - although she's now spending ample "quality" time with best gal pal, Alicia Cargile...
Another "vampire" match made in paparazzi heaven, or is that just too weird? Sound-off in the comments section below!
Lutz also had this to say about loyal Twihards:
"During Twilight I learned that if you make your fans your friends, they're not as crazy. A lot of the actors became so shy that they became unapproachable, which made the fans so crazy that they just wanted to rip their clothes off of them."
