Reports confirm that pop songstress Beyoncé has signed a very lucrative deal with Pepsi Co amounting to a whopping $50 million dollar contract. The New York Times describes the Pepsi deal as a "hybrid project with Beyoncé that will include standard advertising like commercials as well as a multimillion-dollar fund to support the singer's chosen creative projects." Not only will the "Crazy in Love" star perform at the Pepsi-sponsored 2013 Super Bowl halftime, but her famous face will appear on a number of limited-edition soda cans, commercial ads, and other Pepsi merchandise.

According to Pepsi's recent press announcement declaring its deal with the "4" songstress, the new collaboration includes:

- Establishing the Creative Development Fund, a resource devoted to the co-creation of innovative and relevant consumer content.

- Collaboration on design - in addition to having her image on a can or bottle, she is working with us on the design of all materials related to the partnership

- Beyoncé starring in a new "Live for Now" global TV commercial, currently planned for release in early 2013

- Beyoncé will be appearing in print and out of home advertisements for Pepsi. She will also be visible in-store and on-premise through materials such as shelf promotions, in-store displays and in-store advertising.

Along with funding several creative projects supported by Beyoncé, Pepsi will promote the Grammy Award winner's upcoming concert tour as well as endorse her highly-anticipated new album (set to be released sometime in 2013). Jay-Z's sweetheart has worked with Pepsi since 2002.

The Pepsi brand goes on to explain, "Beyond the partnership with Beyoncé, we are using our global scale and scope to create a platform to support multiple country-specific Pepsi musical artists."
