A special announcement has been made the at the recent Special Edition: NYC 2015 convention, Tony Stark will have a major role after Marvel Comics' Secret Wars. With a new creative team, Invincible Iron Man #1 will be part of the upcoming All-New, All Different Marvel Universe

As we previously mentioned, Secret Wars features the Marvel superheroes from alternate realities coming together to meet in an epic standoff. The Marvel's superheroes and super-villains will be forced to defend themselves for the survival of their universe. There will be no Marvel Universe, no Ultimate Universe, or any other, just Battleworld.

According to Comic Book Resources,  Brian Michael Bendis (Powers) has announced "Invincible Iron Man" series which he is writing and will be illustrated by David Marquez (Miles Morales: Ultimate Spider-Man).

During the "Next Big Thing" panel at Special Edition: NYC,  Bendis is quoted as saying, "He's getting new armor, a new girlfriend, new villains, a whopper of a last page and thanks to Kieron Gillen who revealed that Tony Stark is adopted, we're going to find out who Tony's biological parents are -- and I'm gonna tell you right now, they are Thomas and Martha Wayne," Bendis told the crowd. "This new armor design has new cool things that it does, including -- you know how Tony has 20-30 armors that show up? This one can turn into all of them."

Bendis also confirmed it will be Tony Stark underneath the metal helmet, "Everything that has happened to Tony is in continuity and will be reflected in the new series."

After Secret Wars crossover event ends,  "All-New, All-Different Marvel," will become the  publisher's upcoming new line-wide refresh. Marvel plans to launch new #1s for all of its series, around 55 to 60, titles over a span of three to four months starting this fall.
