Taylor Swift Pregnant Rumors a HOAX: Harry Styles Parties with Ladies after Songstress Leaves UK, 'Haylor' Already on the Rocks?
Pop-country songstress Taylor Swift and One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles only started dating a few weeks ago, and already the pregnancy and breakup rumors are swirling like crazy! First, the "reliable" social media outlet "Weekly World News" (in fact, it's a popular fictional news tabloid) insists that they have legitimate medical sources who confirm that the "Red" songstress is indeed pregnant... with Styles' baby. Although the report is obviously a hoax, the pregnancy rumors have since gone viral. Next, pics recently surfaced online of 18-year-old Styles partying with a group of young ladies after Swift jetted off from England to Germany over the weekend. So what's up with all the "Haylor" drama... are tabloids just searching for some seedy claims to increase gossip readership?
Check out the rather hilarious "Taylor Swift is Pregnant" article recently posted on "Weekly World News." The bogus report insists that Swift's reps heatedly deny the recent pregnancy claims, but that insiders actually spoke to doctors close to Cedars Sinai hospital in Los Angeles. Apparently Swift recently went for an OB/GYN checkup and doctors confirm that she is indeed with child, and Styles is the rumored father. "Definitely, preggers," a resident at the hospital told "WWN."
Hold up a second... just check out some of these ridiculous quotes that prove the report is ultimately a joke:
"A source close to the drummer in Taylor Swift's band, said that Taylor wasn't sure if it Conor Kennedy was the baby daddy or if it was One Direction's Harry Styles. There are about two dozen other men (and teens) that could be the father - according to One Direction fans."
"Various members of The Wanted are trying to get Lindsay Lohan pregnant - just so they can keep up with One Direction and Styles."
The tabloid even alters a photo of the Grammy Award winner, making it look as if she's sporting a growing baby bump.
Although after a quick read-through it's pretty obvious that the report is fake, searches for "Taylor Swift pregnant" recently started to trend on the web.
Meanwhile, after Swift spent a romantic birthday weekend getaway in England with her 1D boy toy, Styles was already spotted partying with several other young ladies once Swift up and left for Germany. Word then started to spread that "Haylor" is already on the rocks, although that doesn't appear to be the case at all:
"He simply dropped by as a favor for a friend and was polite and friendly to everyone he met," an inside source tells the Mirror about Styles' late-night visit to Sheffield University Saturday evening (Dec. 15). Styles' sister Gemma attends school there.
Still, some over-excited fans tweeted some rather questioning tweets about Style's late-night visit:
"He told [my friend] she was very attractive and to take off her Minnie Mouse suit lol," one tweeted.
"Chilled with him for like 3 hours!!! I was literally in shock the whole time, trying to play it cool haha, but inside I was freaking out!!!!!" tweeted another.
Although photos of Styles partying with the young college ladies soon hit the web, the singer's close pal Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw insists "Haylor" is still going strong - "Harry really likes Taylor, he's fallen for her in a big way," Grimshaw tells the Mirror. "At first I wasn't sure if the relationship was a real one but I talk to him a lot and it seems to be that she's the one - for now, anyway."
"Haylor" indeed seems to be doing just fine... according to reports, Styles treated his new lady friend to a lavish and romantic 23rd birthday at England's beautiful Lake District. He supposedly booked a number of stunning venues for their short stay, and dished out money for a number of luxurious gifts including a £400 (approximately $650) Jimmy Choo handbag, a gorgeous pair of antique earrings, a large bottle of her favorite perfume, and 23 yummy, custom-made cupcakes. Swift's b-day was on Thursday, Dec. 13.
