Rihanna and Chris Brown: 'Rock Star of the Year' Rents $21 Million Oceanfront Penthouse in Barbados, will Karrueche Tran's Main Man Join Her?
How does pop songstress Rihanna celebrate being named MTV's "Rock Star of the Year" for 2012 - by renting a luxurious, oceanfront penthouse for the holiday season in Barbados for a whopping $21 million, of course! But one question remains... will R&B crooner Chris Brown join her - even though reports have it he has rekindled a romance with ex-flame Karrueche Tran? Maybe a surprise New Year wedding isn't in the cards for RiRi despite recent "marriage" rumors...
According to recent reports, Rihanna will spend the Christmas and New Year holiday back home in Barbados with her mother Monica Braithwaite and younger brother Rajad in true rock star style. The "Diamonds" songstress has rented a $21.8 million beach-side penthouse at the glamorous One Sandy Lane. Friends and family insist that Brown is also set to join RiRi pool and ocean-side for the relaxing holiday vaca, but is the "Don't Wake Me Up" star still invited after his rather shady partying ways?
Not only was Brown recently spotted hopping around Paris with his ex-girlfriend Tran, but close pal Christina Milan swears that the duo are definitely "still together." And a recent report in Oops! magazine has popular French reality star exclusively dishing about her having sex with Brown in Paris... with Tran's permission!
Apparently Rihanna has had enough of the love-triangle drama, but is unable to totally separate herself from Young Breezy. An inside source recently told Star magazine, "She says she's been through so much pain to get Chris back that his life won't be worth living if he breaks her heart again... Chris has told her that he wants to marry her and be with her forever. It's pretty scary - but instead of freaking Chris out, it seems to turn him on."
If things smooth over between the duo and they do travel to One Sandy Lane in Barbados together, true paradise awaits. Private elevators, underground parking, private beachfront terraces, walk-in dressing rooms, and huge five-bedroom apartments are just some of the standard luxuries offered at One Sandy Lane. The lavish complex supposedly runs like a boutique hotel - a private staff of 34 is ready to serve renters hand-and-foot with whatever they desire, and keep the grounds and rooms in impeccable shape.
Despite Brown's "messing around" and RiRi's cryptic, threatening tweets, the couple apparently still plan on vacationing together - although one inside source insists, "Their relationship changes day to day, hour by hour."
