The Season 4 finale of Person of Interest aired on CBS. Before Season 5 of Person of Interest, premieres in 2016, Michael Emerson (Finch), Jim Caviezel (Reese), and Root Amy Acker (Root)will discuss their 13 episode run, which could be their last visit to San Diego Comic-Con 2015 for the show.

In our finale recap, Root realized they had two clips left and their briefcase was running low on double AA batteries. As Samaritan's agents took out Elias and Dominic, Greer's men put a bag over Control's face and took her hostage. As Pink Floyd's Welcome to the Machine started playing, Finch walked out, with no gun, alongside Reese and Root as they started shooting down Samaritan's agents.

As we previously mentioned, Person of Interest was renewed alongside NCIS, Hawaii Five-0, The Good Wife, and 11 other shows. Because Season 5 was only granted 13 episodes, instead of the full season, this makes numerous fans wonder if this will actually be the last season of POI.

According to Variety, the cast and crew of POI are taking over Saturday, July 11:

Find out highly confidential intel when executive producers Jonathan Nolan, Greg Plageman and Denise Thé join series stars Jim Caviezel, Michael Emerson, Kevin Chapman and Amy Acker undergo a Comic-Con interrogation with a special video presentation and Q&A. As we mentioned before, CBS president Nina Tassler discussed the terms for the fifth season, "[Showrunners] Jonah Nolan and Greg Plageman came in and pitched really terrific ideas for the new season. So, we have to see. It's always been a very smart, creative show; we don't know yet whether it's going to be the end or not. If it is, we'll have a great ending."
