The pop record "Gangnam Style" dances has been done by politician, celebrities, athletes, and us common folks. The galloping dance moves and hilarious videos seemed infectious once the hit song went viral, and the July 15, 2012 video upload has now reached it's 1 billion hit on YouTube around 10:50 a.m. EST.

Last month the song had become YouTube's most attached video beating out Justin Bieber's "Baby" video. In a statement, Psy said, "I didn't even imagine 'Gangnam Style' would get 1 million views, let alone 1 billion views! Is this the Tru-PSY show?"

The 34-year-old rapper named the hit song after the affluent Gangnam District in Seoul. The Korean rapper met and performed for President Obama and U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. A personal milestone may have come when Psy won the best video award at the MTV Europe Music Awards in November.
