The Weather Channel reports that Winter Storm Euclid has already begun to wreak havoc across the nation following the Christmas holiday - pummeling the Midwest with a mixture of rain and snow and hitting the South hard with several dangerous tornadoes and thunderstorms. The storm has already dumped upwards of 13 inches of snow in some parts of the Midwest, and is expected to slam a majority of the Northeast later on today (Dec. 26). Read on for further details on the windy, snowy weather conditions and to find out where Mstarz readers can go to track the winter storm's path live.

The nasty Christmas/winter storm not only spawned blizzard-like conditions throughout the Midwest (dangerous conditions which are soon expected to pummel the Northeast), it resulted in at least 15 reported tornadoes in the South. Reports not only confirm widespread power outages, but at least 600 flight delays and cancelations. The Weather Channel reports that "blizzard warnings stretch for 730 continuous miles" as the winter storm Euclid quickly travels to the Northeast. Those in the path of the storm can expect up to a foot of snow and strong, blizzard-like winds (hence large snow drifts). Recent tornado sightings stretched from Texas to Alabama on Christmas day, bringing intense thunderstorms to the Gulf Coast and dumping heavy snow/freezing rain on the Southern Plains. Three deaths have resulted thus far, although none were caused outright from the tornadoes.

Authorities suggest that those in the winter storm's path should stay indoors and refrain from traveling.
