Diddy Arrested for Allegedly Assaulting UCLA Coach Over Son, Justin Combs

MStars News has learned that rapper, and entrepreneur, Sean "Diddy" Combs was arrested by the UCLA Police Department on Monday following an assault on his son's football coach.

According to USA Today, Diddy was charged with assault with a deadly weapon, which turned out to be a kettlebell. The Revolt founder was also charged with one count of making terrorist threats and one count of battery.

UCLA is where Diddy's son, Justin Combs attends college and play as a defensive back on the football team.

UCLA announced in a statement that the assault was a result of an dispute that took place at the Acosta Athletic Training Complex.

Football coach Jim Mora made his own remarks which said:

"I'm thankful that our staff showed the level of professionalism that they did in handling this situation. This is an unfortunate incident for all parties involved. While UCPD continues to review this matter, we will let the legal process run its course and refrain from further comment at this time."

Following the altercation the university revealed that no one had been hurt, but Diddy was booked at the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Inmate Reception Center.

According to TMZ, Diddy assaulted UCLA assistant football coach, Sal Alosi. Alosi is a former New York Jets strength coach that was suspended by the NFL back in 2010 after who once tripping a Dolphins player during a game.

USA Today claims that the rapper's bail was set at $160,000 but a sheriff official revealed that he posted bail at $50,000.

Justin Combs isn't the only son of a rapper who plays for the Bruins. Rap legend, Snoop Dogg's son Cordell Broadus is a wide receiver for the team as well.

Hopefully Diddy's mistakes won't affect Justin's football career. Diddy is due in court July 15.
