While many celebrities in the business use the "pay me what I want, or I'm walking negotiation when it comes to getting more money, it doesn't seem like that is how America's Got Talent star and judge Howard Stern operates. The radio personality and reality show host made his plans about walking from the reality competition known earlier this year, but as talks for next season came rolling around, the Sirius XM star says that he is sticking to his guns and leaving the show before season 11 begins next summer.

According to Radar Online, Stern is not bluffing about leaving, and doesn't want to stick around even if more money is involved.

Heidi Klum and Mel B's co-host explained on his radio show that despite what news sites are reporting, that it is not in his character to negotiate a raise in this way.

"They were saying it's a play on my part, a negotiation," Stern explained of the reports. "They think that that's my M.O.- like even my negotiation with Sirius, [reporters say,] 'that's what Howard does, he makes theater out of it blah blah blah...'"

He then reiterated that he felt his time on the NBC reality series has come to an end, and that he simply wanted to be done with it.

"That's it, there's not negotiating, I'm done with it, I've had enough," the star explained. "I assure you, I'm not waiting for some payday or something- I don't operate that way."

Radar also explained that this decision was hard for Howard, as he wanted to have more free time, explaining that the long hours were making him "particularly miserable", adding that he "wasn't having a lot of fun."
