Madonna Stalker Luckily Escapes Jail, Gets 3 Years Of Probation After Being Arrested Twice

The Manhattan Supreme Court has ruled that the pop star Madonna's stalker of three years of probation, Jan. 2.

Justice Laura Ward sentenced the 61-year-old Robert Linhart of three years probation for resisting arrest. He was also asked to attend anger management sessions.

Linhart is a former firefighter with the New York City. Lawrence LaBrew, Linhart's lawyer used his heroism as a firefighter to make the justice agree for a probation instead of a jail term. "Mr. Linhart served with the New York City Fire Department for 20 years. He put his life on the line for the citizens of New York," said LeBrew, TheCelebrityCafe reported. 

Linhart was arrested twice before. He painted pavements and made posters that read, "The universe brought us together in 1992 and again this year in Prague. Meet me please."

He has reportedly said he does not "feel the same way about her", stopping short of calling Madonna a hypocrite, "Funny, I just heard Madonna say that she supports freedom of speech [sic]. I think that she should inform her security of her beliefs," he said in his Twitter page.
