Taylor Swift and Harry Styles Relationship Fake? Haylor Jets off for Romantic Virgin Gorda Vaca, Publicity Stunt Rumors Swirl

Pop-country songstress Taylor Swift and One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles' budding "Haylor" romance is too cute for words. Date nights in London, L.A., and NYC, exchanging an intimate smooch in Times Square as the clock strikes midnight on New Year's, and now jetting off for a romantic vaca on the beautiful Virgin Gorda (the third largest British Virgin Island). But is "Haylor" too good to be true? Recent reports allege that Styles' relationship with Swift is totally fake and merely a publicity stunt to increase the British crooner's own popularity. Several inside sources debunk such shady accusations, insisting that the duo is truly in love and that this is the happiest Swift has been in a long time... but do fans truly believe that Styles might be faking it to boost his own career? Sounds a little ridiculous, considering neither Swift nor Styles needs any help when it comes to fame!

Following the couple's New Year's festivities in New York City (where "Haylor" shared a prolonged kiss in front of millions of fans to ring in 2013) the duo flew south to the island of Virgin Gorda for some fun in the sun relaxation. Several fans recently spotted them at the popular Asian/Latin cuisine restaurant, CocoMaya.

Although the relationship is moving quite fast (the two only started dating a few months ago), Swift and Styles appear totally happy together. But according to recent reports in the National Enquirer and on the gossip website Cambio, things aren't as realistically blissful as they appear. One supposed inside source claims:

"[Haylor] was orchestrated by Harry's publicists to cast even more light on the popular British idol. Little does Taylor know Harry's handlers were the ones who went to great lengths to get the two together because Taylor Swift is such a big star... Anytime Taylor Swift starts dating a new boyfriend, she gets a lot of media attention, and her breakups even more, which is why they wanted [Harry Styles] to date her. If there is a split, [Harry's people] are going to just wait for the relationship to take its course and reap the benefits."

These tabloids aren't the most reputable outlets when it comes to celeb gossip, and considering such accusations are totally unconfirmed and conflict with several other reports insinuate that they're probably fabricated. Another source close to the "Red" songstress recently told Us Weekly:

"[Taylor and Harry] are really in love. I've never seen Taylor this happy before. She's smiling all the time."

Many fans were initially wary of "Haylor" when Swift and Styles first romantically linked up (considering Swift's rather extravagant dating record with Hollywood bachelors)... but many One Directioners have since lightened up to the idea. The hashtag "#WeRespectHaylor" even began trending on Twitter earlier this week.

For now, "Haylor" continues to ignore all of the gossip drama (whether about publicity stunts, pregnancy, marriage, etc). The young couple seems truly happy, and until such shady rumors are confirmed, there doesn't seem to be any trouble in "Haylor" paradise headed into 2013!
