Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump were once the best of pals and allies in the political spectrum. These days - not so much. After Trump's statements on illegal immigrants and the Latino community, Clinton slammed the fledgling Republican Candidate. According to her, she was "very disappointed" in him.

Clinton opened up about her disappointment to CNN.

"I'm very disappointed in those comments and I feel very bad and very disappointed with him and with the Republican Party for not responding immediately and saying, 'Enough, stop it,' " Clinton said.

Clinton then continued by calling out the Republican Party.

"But you know they are all in the same general area on immigration," Clinton said. "They don't want to provide a path to citizenship. They range across a spectrum of being either grudgingly welcome or hostile towards immigrants, and I'm going to talk about comprehensive immigration reform. I'm going to talk about all of the good, law-abiding, productive members of the immigrant community that I personally know, that I've met over the course of my life, that I would like to see have a path to citizenship."

Over the weekend, Trump opened up on the backlash he has faced after his comments. According to him, he lost "millions upon millions of dollars" with his disparaging remarks against illegal immigrants. Trump opened up about this to Fox News.

"I knew it was going to be bad because I was told this. All my life I have been told this: If you are successful, you don't run for office," Trump told the news channel.

The statements that landed Trump all the hate were ones he made during his presidential announcement. In the announcement, Trump claimed Mexico doesn't send their "best" people. He also went on to say many of the illegal immigrants from Mexico bring crime and are "rapists."
