Healthy Breakfasts to Boost Your Energy: Nutritious Foods for the Body & Mind

It's rumored that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but if you're eating all the wrong things in the morning then you're ruining the entire day for both your body and mind. Therefore, MStars News suggests to swap out those heavy meals for more nutritious ones that'll prove to boost your energy in order to give you the best you for the day.

With that in mind, let's look at some of the better breakfasts to eat in the mornings to kick off your day.

AN ORANGE
Instead of jump-starting your morning with a nice glass of orange juice, The Huffington Post notes it's best to have an actual orange because oftentimes the juice has some sort of added sugars. And because it is juiced, it is "robbed of most of its digestive health-promoting fiber."

OATMEAL
Instead of that sugary cereal we all love so much, it's probably best to kick off your morning with a fresh cup of oatmeal. Both inexpensive and good for you, oatmeal can reportedly stabilize your blood pressure. And there's the added benefit of being able to add some fruit to it, which makes it taste oh, so good.

YOGURT
Okay, we're not talking about those "fancy" fake-flavored yogurts, readers. What we're talking about is unflavored Greek yogurt. Sure, it's a bit blander in taste but it's also THAT much better for you. To spice it up (not literally), add in some berries—either frozen or store-bought. Naturally, you can put in whatever fruit you like, but a mixture of strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and bananas can never go wrong.

Just saying.
