MStars News previously learned that Bobbi Kristina died at the age of 22 years old on Sunday, July 26. According to PEOPLE, the only daughter of the late Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown was surrounded by family as she died.

The Houston family confirmed the death of Kristina and made a statement via their rep.

"Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away July, 26 2015, surrounded by her family," the statement read. "She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months."

Bobbi Kristina's tragic life ended after she was on life support for six months, after being found unresponsive in her bathtub in Roswell, Georgia, back in January.

Kristina never fully regained consciousness and was being kept on life support and moved to a long term care in Atlanta in March, then moved to hospice last month where she died on Sunday.

A Brown family source revealed that Bobbi was losing weight and her hair while in hospice.

"She has been losing weight, she's been losing hair. They were taking good care of her, but she has no muscle tone at all. There has been some worry that her organs are shutting down," the insider described.

As for Nick Gordon, Bobbi Kris' boyfriend, and the person who found her unresponsive in her bathtub, MStars News previously reported that he is currently on suicide watch.

The family also described Kristina's father as "inconsolable." His daughter's death comes three weeks after his second wife, Alicia Etheredge Brown delivered a baby girl, named Bodhi Jameson Rein Brown.

The new edition was born Thursday, July 9, at 8:24 p.m. at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. The sad news of her older sister has reached thousands of fans of the Houston and Brown family, as mourners reflect on the life that was cut short.

Gone Too Soon. RIP Bobbi Kris.
