Taylor Swift Sends Harry Styles Emotional Texts After Haylor Split: Simon Cowell Orders 1Der to 'Clear the Air' with Heartbroken Starlet?
Rumors are still swirling as to why Taylor Swift and Harry Style's "Haylor" romance ended so quickly... was Swift too clingy, did Styles want something more physical, is the "Red" songstress already penning several new breakup tunes? Recent reports have it that the 23-year-old pop-country songstress is a "wreck" following her split from the One Direction crooner, and she's even been repeatedly texting the 18-year-old British heartthrob to take her back... but Styles just isn't hearing it. Another shady gossip report claims that "X-Factor" judge Simon Cowell ordered Styles to "clear up the air" with his heartbroken ex-flame... apparently Cowell warned Styles that if he continued to ignore Swift, it would only "jeapordize" One Direction's popularity in the U.S. Cowell's reps heatedly deny that such a friendly convo took place between the two U.K. superstars.
According to a recent Hollywood Life report, Swift regretted leaving Styles on such bad terms after a huge fight during Haylor's romantic New Year's getaway to the British Virgin Islands. When Swift returned to the States, she supposedly sent Styles a series of apologetic text messages... but he wouldn't respond to any of them. An "inside" source tells Us Weekly, "She was a wreck and torn up... [but he] wouldn't call her back. He thinks she's too emotional."
Allegedly, things turned sour during the couple's romantic Caribbean vacation when Styles decided he needed some quality time to himself. Hollywood Life reports that he got drunk and left Swift on their private boat without telling her where he was going... and the "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" songstress became furious. She left the island (alone) the next morning... "She wanted to teach Harry a lesson; she expected him to call and apologize," the inside source claims. "[But] he didn't." Apparently Swift's little tantrum ultimately pushed Styles away... and now the Grammy Award winner totally regrets it.
Although Styles initially ignored Swifts' "pleas for forgiveness," he supposedly had a change of heart after a short chitchat with Simon Cowell. A recent headline by the Daily Mirror reads - "Let's be friends: Harry Styles clears the air with ex Taylor Swift on orders of Simon Cowell... the former lovebirds [are] back in touch after the One Direction star got some friendly words of advice from the 'X Factor' supremo." One alleged inside source insists, "Simon gave Harry a friendly warning that any animosity between him and Taylor could jeopardize One Direction's popularity in the U.S... They're two of the world's biggest music stars, and Simon knew that, although things didn't work out between them, they were bound to meet at various events and awards ceremonies."
Sounds a little shady... which is why Gossip Cop got in touch with one of Cowell's publicists who claims "there's absolutely no truth [to it]... This story was completely made up... One Direction make their own decisions on their personal relationships and this matter hasn't even been discussed."
Despite all of the (made-up) Haylor drama, it looks like Swift is indeed back in the studio...
