Adam Sandler Died, Again? Morbid Death Hoax Resurfaces on Twitter, Flavor Flav Tweets 'That's a Messed Up Roomer!'
Apparently comedic actor Adam Sandler recently died in a tragic snowboarding accident in the snowy mountains of Switzerland... again (making this at least the fourth time such a shady report resurfaced on the web). As Mstarz previously reported on several occasions, such morbid death rumors that continue circulating on popular social networking sites including Twitter and Facebook are completely FAKE. Sandler is alive and well and continues to work on the upcoming films "Grown Ups 2" and "Ridiculous 6." Even so, such bogus "Adam Sandler Dead" reports still manage to trend on the web, and this time around Public Enemy rapper Flavor Flav even has something to say about the whole ridiculous celebrity death hoax ordeal. The 53-year-old VH1 reality star recently hit up Twitter to debunk the bogus Adam Sandler obit, proclaiming, "That's a messed up roomer!!"

Adam Sandler Dead? Death Hoax Resurfaces Following Lil Wayne 'Dead from Seizures, Sizzurp' Rumors, Comedian Still 'Alive and Well'
As originally reported by Mstarz:
Here is the bogus Adam Sandler obit originally posted by the prank website Global Associated News back in September, which sent many Happy Gilmore fans into a mournful viral tizzy:
"Actor Adam Sandler is reported to have died shortly after a snowboard accident earlier today - December 6, 2012. (Obviously the website generates false up-to-the-date deaths).
The actor & novice snowboarder was vacationing at the Zermatt ski resort in Zermatt, Switzerland with family and friends. Witnesses indicate that Adam Sandler lost control of his snowboard and struck a tree at a high rate of speed.
Adam Sandler was air lifted by ski patrol teams to a local hospital, however, it is believed that the actor died instantly from the impact of the crash. The actor was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident and drugs and alcohol do not appear to have played any part in his death."
Although several news and gossip outlets ousted the Global Associated News report as a total sham, several fans decided to spread the "sad" news before double-checking with reputable sources. And now, almost six months later, the rumors continue to spread on Twitter and beyond (although several fans are finally beginning to realize the morbid celebrity death hoax trend):
@MojoGavicanCamm: "If Adam Sandler is really dead, then so is half of my childhood."
@TomikaWheeler: "Whooooo tf said Adam Sandler was dead? #notajoke."
@BullsAndKicks: "Adam Sandler better not be dead... Twitter kills off too many people for me to believe this..."
@bakedxblondex: Adam Sandler is not dead y'all. Just Googled it. Just a hoax."
@ghanababes: "Adam Sandler is dead?! Someone please say it ain't so!"
And it turns out that Flavor Flav is ultimately the one to "say it ain't so!" Once the bogus "Adam Sandler dead" rumors began trending on Twitter yet again, Flav (real name, William J. Drayton) sent out the tweets (on Jan. 11):
@FlavorFlav: "Stop tweeting bad things about Adam sandler that's not true It's really messed up that you would put out a roomer like that, Flavor Flav."
@FlavorFlav: "Adam sandler is not dead!!! That's a messed up roomer!! It's not cool to say that about Adam We all love Adam and proud of his work!!!!"
Was Flav's own Twitter account hacked? Maybe... but at least for a good cause! Yes, he may have spelt "rumor" wrong... but isn't that the Flavor Flav fans know and love? At least he got the most important message through... Adam Sandler is NOT dead!
As Mstarz suggested before, fans should make sure that they get all their info from credible sources before going crazy on social media... spreading fake celebrity death rumors are exactly what the hoaxsters want!
