#NationalWatermelonDay: Top 3 Healthy Binge Eating Options to Snack Smart!

It's #NationalWatermelonDay, folks. What that means is we're about to talk about healthy eating... in the form of binge eating. The act is, well, so much fun – that's just a fact (we think?). Anyway, unfortunately, it's also incredibly bad for us. But fear not, fellow late-night-snackers and binge eaters – there are a number healthy foods you can choose to snack on that are smart, safe and seriously good for you.

Just not as good as your usual late-night and binge eating snacks. Sorry...

WATERMELON
Men's Health actually claims that a Sweet Watermelon Slushie is the thing to snack on, but honesty, who has watermelon slushies just laying around the house? Therefore, try grabbing yourself some watermelon. The fruit is reportedly made up of 92% water and holds only 11g of carbs per 46 calories.

As for the seeds, well, just spit them out.

(SORT OF) ICE CREAM
What we're talking about is Arctic Zero ice cream, specifically. You know the old saying 'don't knock it till you try it'? Well, don't knock this until you try it... a few times. The first time, we won't lie, it tastes nothing like real ice cream. The second time, it's a little better. Then, by the third try, you're pretty much hooked.

To start – treat yourself to either the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough or Hint of Mint.

You're welcome.

COTTAGE CHEESE
Cottage cheese has 13g of protein per ½ cup, according to Men's Health. What that means is: eat away! The protein inside the snack will aid in building muscle and giving you a shot of energy when you need it. And if you put something else on top of it, say, fruit, then you're on a whole different level.

A good one, don't worry.

Readers, what are you snacking on?
