Adrienne Maloof 'Casually Dating' Sean Stewart: RHOBH Star Says Age is Just a Number, Friends Worry about 'Womanizer' Reputation
Reports confirm that "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" starlet Adrienne Maloof-Nassif is currently dating the son of British rock legend Rod Stewart, 32-year-old Sean Stewart. Despite how fast the budding romance is moving, the recently-divorced 51-year-old insists that the relationship is "very casual" and that when it comes to dating, age is most definitely "just a number." Despite Maloof's carefree approach to reentering the dating world, several friends are worried that she'll ultimately end up hurt by the infamous reality star "womanizer."
Maloof (who recently finalized her divorce from renowned Beverly Hills cosmetic surgeon Dr. Paul Nassif) publicized her relationship with the much-younger Stewart on January 22. The marketing and promotions mogul recently revealed to People magazine:
"This started as a business relationship and now we're casually dating. It's casual, real casual.... [Stewart is] a lot more mature than a lot of 60-year-olds at this time in his life. [His hard-partying ways] was when he was a young kid. He's been clean and sober for years... I'm a modern business woman [so] I don't think of age. He understands my world, the entertainment industry and being a public figure."
Maloof also stressed to TMZ that "age is just a number" when it comes to love... "It's about how good of a person you are ... [Sean] is a very funny guy. He's very giving, he mentors at the mission, works with at-risk children, and gives his time and money to get children off the streets."
Meanwhile, rumors have it that the couple has already moved in together... and close friends are beginning to worry that the "RHOBH" star will only wind up hurt and used in the end. One source recently explained to Perez Hilton:
"Sean has moved into Adrienne's Mulholland Estates rental home. A lot of Adrienne's friends are extremely concerned about the relationship because it's getting very serious very fast... Sean has a reputation as a womanizer, and he doesn't have steady employment. The most distressing thing to Adrienne's friends is that she is already getting very defensive of Sean and his bad boy ways. The relationship is moving extremely fast and no one wants to see Adrienne get hurt."
(Stewart has had his fair-share of Hollywood drama... he starred in the second season of VH1's hit reality show Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew back in 2008).
But Maloof insists that there's nothing to worry about, and that such talk is only ridiculous hearsay:
"We are not living together. He has his own place. He has a nice place," she told People.
So what do fans think of Maloof's budding relationship with a rock legacy almost 20 years her junior?
