According to several residents living on an Indian Reservation in the Blue Mountains of Oregon, strange roaring and shrieking noises coming from deep within the swampy woodlands may indeed belong to those of a Sasquatch. That's right - there's even new photo/video evidence of the large, "mythological" Bigfoot creature roaming the forests of Oregon, and some locals aren't too happy about it.

Reports confirm that those living by an Oregonian swamp in the Umatilla Indian Reservation have been walking around outside on their tip-toes since November. Many nearby residents began hearing scary and troubling shrieks and moans coming from the woods... some say it must be animal sounds made by foxes or coyotes - others insist that it's proof that Bigfoot really exists. Check it out:

According to local resident Colleen Chance, a tribal housing authority employee who recorded the bizarre sounds on her iPhone, “It’s kind of spooky. Some say its foxes, some say it’s a female coyote and some say it’s Sasquatch. I don’t know what it is.”

The loud, mysterious roaring noises (which many dogs and grown men in the area are even too apprehensive to go out and investigate) sparked rumors that a young Bigfoot separated from its mother must be lost and wandering around the swampy land. Still, many others remain skeptic.

Carl Sheeler, a wildlife program manager in the Umatilla area, insists that the foggy swamp is a perfect place for animals such as cougars, foxes, and coyotes to let out their mating shrieks. “When they are breeding it’s absolutely hair-raising. And the first time a person hears a fox calling in the night, kind of echoing, it raises the hair on the back of your neck. That wetland is the perfect place to have an echoing call sound eerie.”

Scientists remain unconvinced that Sasquatch (a large, hairy, ape-like bipedal humanoid that allegedly inhibits the Pacific Northwest region of North America) truly exists, mostly due to lack of physical evidence. Such professionals believe that the mythological creature merely transformed from a combination of folklore, misidentification, and hoaxes.

For years, many Bigfoot sightings have been recorded around this same Oregon vicinity... most of which proved to be bogus hoaxes. So what do readers think, does Bigfoot roam the Indian Reservation swamps of Oregon?
