You might have noticed that KFC had Saturday Night Live announcer Darrell Hammond portraying the ever so white-suited Colonel Sanders for a little bit. Well, consider it finished because it's being reported that Hammond has been replaced with none other than Last Comic Standing judge Norm Macdonald. Together, Macdonald and the chicken conglomerate have put together a number of short, yet rather hysterical commercials for some new products.

KFC is coining Macdonald's commercial series as "The REAL Colonel Sanders." In the commercials, Macdonald does a (subpar but oh-so-funny) southern accent donned in the traditional garb we've seen Sanders in over the years. With that, however, it's still pretty Norm Macdonald.

Which, you know, we can't really complain about.

The first commercial discusses the imposter that once was. Meaning, of course, Darrel Hammond.

In another commercial, the comedian is pimping out the chain's new $5 Fill-Ups Meal while talking up the case that companies can't take a "super funny Hollywood actor, throw a white suit on him, and try to pass him off as the real Colonel Sanders":

Another portrays Macdonald doing a commercial for "Busy People," which might be the fastest ad we've seen – ever:

The last shows off the fun-loving side of Colonel Sanders:

So, who wants some chicken? Or, who wants to settle for KFC-type chicken?
