Bernie Sanders, Larry David Comparison Analyzed by Seinfeld Current Day Twitter [VIDEO]

Whether or not Bernie Sanders will be the next President of the United States remains to be seen. Something that we know right now, however, is the fact that Sanders and Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm creator Larry David ARE indeed the very same person. Sanders has certainly pandered to the Internet before regarding this subject, reading aloud some Seinfeld scenes of New York Yankees owner George Steinbrenner, who was voiced by LD. But now, the Twitter handle @Seinfeld2000 (aka Seinfeld Current Day) has done some more digging. And wouldn't you guess, it appears safe to say that they're one and the same.

Okay, maybe not, but imagine?

While appearing on Bloomberg a while back, Sanders was asked if he was a fan of the famed 90s series. To which he apathetically agreed – we think? Then, to placate viewers most likely, he read a line:

"George, the word around the office is that you're a communist."

More recently appearing on Vice, @Seinfeld2000 questions Sanders on Twitter, asking him directly if he is Larry David.

Sadly, no response.

"One might think that bernie would want to make like Febreeze and clear the air but surprisingly i received no response from Sanders himself or his team. In fact they didn't even fav my twete as a conciliatory move to be like, 'k it wouldnt be prudant for us to respond outright but as the preeminent imageneer of modarn Seinfeld episodes, we bestow this fav upon u if for no other reason than to acknowledge u as a sign of respect."

*Note: the typos are done on purpose, folks.

Okay, so, why is this happening? Well, who knows, but head on over to Vice for some rather funny comparisons between the two. It's pretty, pretty, pretty... pretty funny. #HackJoke
