If you're an actor in Hollywood and you're religious, actress Mayim Bialik has some news for you: you're not trendy and you never will be. The Big Bang Theory star recently admitted that she doesn't think it'll ever be hip to be religious and God-fearing while working in Hollywood.

In a recent interview with Fox411, Bialik noted that she believes most people in Hollywood are not too friendly to those in the town who speak out about their faith, citing her Orthodox Jewish beliefs as an example.

In the interview with Fox, Bialik says, "I think in general it's never going to be trendy to be observant or religious in Hollywood circles."

She further claimed that there are certain people she knows in the business who are religious, and most of the time, they "tend to congregate together."

"I study Jewish texts weekly. That's something positive to me when you're a person of faith, it stays with you all the time."

Blossom Bialik also brought up an example in her recent trip to Israel, where her fans reportedly acted angrily about it. She told the outlet that she received "a lot of negative attention" surrounding the trip to Israel.

"That's what's amazing ... simply by going to Israel this summer and saying nothing more than, 'I've gone to Israel,' I got the same amount of hatred and threats and anti-Semitism for actually making a statement trying to support people whether I like it or not are serving in an army."

So, will it ever be trendy to be religious in Hollywood? Apparently not. Maybe someone should tell Tom Cruise and all the scientologists.

Just saying.

So, thoughts?
