Music mogul, Dame Dash posts a touching Instagram post to his late girlfriend and singer, Aaliyah.

While fans around the world remembered the "One in a Million" singer on her 14th year mark of her death (Aug. 25) the former Roc-A-Fella celebrity posted a photo of them together along with a heartfelt message, "My feelings will never change and I feel close to her everyday...I know she is with me and protects me and keeps me around the light... She keeps me confident I know love transcends all dimensions it's the strongest power in the universe and her and I have a lot of that forever... I know how lucky I'am."

Singer Janet Jackson shared some thoughts and love in a Twitter post to her once biggest fan,"What I shared with u [is] ever sacred, everlasting [and] it's pure and it will endure. I love u Aaliyah. #RIP," the letter read and caption read, "I know u r there shining down on me. #ConversationsInACafe."

Close friend who worked with Baby Girl, Missy Elliott told Fader, "Most people look at her as an angel. That's what she was. I'm not saying that because people feel like they have to say great things because somebody passed away. It is what it is. She was a sweet person with great, incredible talent who didn't compromise who she was for the world. It was like: I'm gonna be a trendsetter, I'm gonna be an icon, even when I'm gone, you gonna always remember me."

On August 25, 2001, Aaliyah along with 7 other members of her team were instantly killed in a plane crash in the Bahamas.

RIP.
