Lady Gaga's nickname is Mother Monster, and it seems like Ryan Murphy might have used the star's pet name for inspiration on her character for the new season of American Horror Story. Very few details are being released about AHS: Hotel, other than the character descriptions for the cast, which includes Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett and Matt Bomer. However, other than the vague description that was given about Gaga's character, Elizabeth, little was known about whom she would playing. It is now being revealed that she will portray a several hundred-year-old bloodsucker on the show.  However, don't chalk this up to just another vampire.  That's not it at all according to the showrunner.

American Horror Story may seem to be about to go Vampire Diaries, as Gaga will be playing a bloodsucker. That isn't all though, the ARTPOP star will also be playing the Mother to ten little baby monsters, according to Us Weekly.

"Her character is the hotel owner and the mother of 10 identical vampires who are 8 years old," an insider explained to the site." They're played by children and are very creepy."

However, don't let Ryan Murphy hear you calling Gaga a vampire, as he promises there won't be any cheap effects like fangs or capes in his version of the creatures.

"I prefer the term 'ancient blood virus,' the show runner explained to Entertainment Weekly. "It's not vampires. It's really a form of hemophilia in a way. There's no capes and fangs.

We previously reported on some other details about Gaga's character, mentioning that she will be playing a socialite at the hotel.

"She owns the hotel, and she is sort of a wealthy social doyenne who is consumed with art and fashion and people," an insider explained at the TCA panel. "She has a nefarious plan that is revealed in the first episode."

American Horror Story: Hotel debuts on Wednesday, October 7.
