Kareem Abdul-Jabbar pretty much said Donald Trump is going to be a terrible President and there isn't more proof than how he has acted with the media spotlight on him. Abdul-Jabbar said that taking pride in bullying reporters and wanting to ship people out of the country is unbecoming of an American leader.  He further claimed that it also, technically, goes against the 1st and 14th amendments. True to form, Trump fired back. Choosing a sharpie as the method of response, Trump blasted the NBA legend and said he "doesn't have a clue."

Abdul-Jabbar posted Trump's response to him on Facebook. Apparently, the legend received a message from Trump where the presidential candidate wrote on his Washington Post piece in sharpie. It's unknown how he received this message from Trump though, or if it is genuinely from Trump. All we know is that Abdul-Jabbar posted the photo and said it was sent.

"Now I know why the press always treated you so badly," the sharpie-scrawled note read. "They couldn't stand you. The fact is that you don't have a clue about life and what has to be done to make America great again. Best wishes: Donald Trump."

What Trump is responding to was Abdul-Jabbar's article written in the Washington Post on September 2nd. Abdul-Jabbar makes the claim that in Trump's vendetta against political correctness; he has actually gone about his squabbles unconstitutionally. He cited his battles with Megyn Kelly, the Univision Reporter and a recent incident with the Des Moines Register where he refused the paper's reporters credentials to one of his events as proof.

"Other journalists he thinks have treated him harshly he refers to as 'losers' or unintelligent, as if the definition of lack of intelligence is to not agree with him," Abdul-Jabbar wrote. "Attempting to bully the press to silence criticism of him is anti-American. He followed up this salvo on the First Amendment with a strike at the 14th Amendment, asserting that he'd like to deny those born in the country their citizenship. The biggest enemy to the principles of the Constitution right now is Trump."
