President Barack Obama recently unveiled footage from his recent trip to Alaska. The video was dropped via the White House's official Twitter account (yep, there is such a thing) along with the hashtag #ActOnClimate, which aims at urging people to, well, act on climate before it's too late to do anything.

In the below video, President Obama discusses the importance of acknowledging climate change, and explains that while he was thrilled to visit the beautiful state of Alaska, the main reason he was there was to "describe in real concrete terms what's happening with climate change."

The President goes on to state that what he's seeing is a result of the warming climate: the villages destroyed, the erosion, the soon-to-be relocation of towns, the rising sea levels, and much more.

Obama further notes that change will not occur unless we begin to act seriously on climate change.

Naturally, the Twitter video warranted a number of responses from commenters – some good and some bad. Some praise the President for speaking out on climate change while others just tell the White House to check their facts again. Regardless, the President appears to be moving steadfastly to make certain we do something about our climate.
