Conan O’Brien, Jimmy Kimmel, Seth Meyers Have Advice for Stephen Colbert Before Premiere

Stephen Colbert's version of The Late Show kicks off tonight at 11:35 p.m. on CBS, but before the former Colbert Report host takes to his new chair, he's called upon the likes of some friendly late-night talk show hosts to give him some advice. From Conan O'Brien to Jimmy Kimmel and Seth Meyers, Colbert was given a whirlpool of tips from some of the best in the biz ... and James Corden.

Ah, we kid Mr. Corden.

Anyway, Colbert kicks off the below video holding an iPad watching the various responses from some of his fellow late-night hosts, adding in his own bits of cleverness along the way. Some of the tips are rather helpful, but others, well, not so much.

Let's take a look at some of their tips:

"Be careful what you tweet," –new-coming Daily Show host Trevor Noah.
"I would be very rude to the guest. Wear a lot of cologne." –Jimmy Kimmel
"I think you should try and buy land." –Conan O'Brien
"You do you, as irritating 12 year olds say." –John Oliver
"You're at 11:30 opposite me, mother*cker. So don't go too fast, alright?" –Larry Wilmore
"Don't buy in Florida." –Conan O'Brien (again)
"Save the best bits of your show for the last four minutes." –James Corden (The Mentalist guy)
"Do a character. No one wants to see you." –Bill Maher

Check out all of the comments for Colbert below:

So, who will win in tonight's ratings? We'll have to wait and see, but our guess is Colbert doesn't really care.
