'The Strain' Season 2 Episode 10 Spoilers: Are Corey Stoll, Mia Maestro Palmer's "Assassin?"

Based on Guillermo Del Toro's bestselling graphic novels, published by Dark Horse Comics, Season 2 of The Strain continues on FX. In the upcoming Episode 10, will either Ephraim Goodweather (Corey Stoll) or Nora Martinez (Mia Maestro) cross the line to become Eldritch Palmer's "Assassin?"

In our previous recap, Eph has been contemplating Palmer (Jonathan Hyde)'s murder ever since his horrific trip to Washington D.C. Palmer though isn't even thinking about Eph because of his continuing sexual rendezvous with his secretary. Masquerading as an uninfected human being, Kelly Goodweather (Natalie Brown) snuck inside Red Hook and finally discovered where her son has been hiding.

In our recent recap, while Thomas Eichorst (Richard Sammel) launched an all-out vampire attack on Red Hook, Kelly went after Nora and Zach (Max Charles) until Vasiliy Fet (Kevin Durand) stopped her. Councilwoman Justine Feraldo (Samantha Mathis) gathered the Red Hook community against the bloodsuckers as Thomas went after Abraham Setrakian (David Bradley). Though Abraham and Eph were able to wound Thomas many times, he still managed to escape.

According to TV Fanatic, FX has released a series of photos for the upcoming episode, The Assassin, which feature Eph and Dutch (Ruta Gedmintas) targeting Palmer. Abraham warned Eph that he is in danger of losing his humanity if he connives on his dark path. With Eph's finger on the trigger, will he really pull the trigger and take the shot, killing his enemy for good?

The site states, "Setrakian tracks down Rudyard Fonescu, having learned from the Cardinal he is the owner of the Lumen. Apparently, the search leads our heroes to a bookstore, but will Fonescu cooperate? What about the book's legendary curse?"

As we previously mentioned, The Strain has been renewed for a third season.
