Teens Final Jeopardy Answer: Leonard Cooper Awesome Answer Ever, Wins $75,000 [VIDEO]
Jeopardy contestant, Leonard Cooper may have given the best answer ever betting nothing, coming out as a winner and winning $75,000. The teenage tournament may be the most memorable moment in Jeopardy history.
Alex Trebek was shocked when the he bet everything during a daily double and doubled his prize money when he gambled $18,000 when asked: "In Reginald Rose's play. 'Twelve Angry Men', the men are all members of one of these."
Leonard answered: "What is a Jury," and got the answer right.
Towards the final round the panel of teen contestants were asked, "On June 6, 1944 he said, "The eyes of the world are upon you". Saving Leonard's answer for last because he was in the lead and by the look on his face he was already pleased because he realized he won. Alex Trebek read the teens answer, "Who is some guy in Normandy, but I just won $75,000." The teen didn't bet anything and won money and laughs from the audience and even Trebek who said, "One of the things I love about the teen tournament is that these guys have marvelous senses of humor."
