Rich Homie Quan may be regretting his decision to smoke in front of his son, Royal last week, because now, the rapper may be facing criminal charges. According to View Hip Hop, Quan is being investigated by Child Protective Services and the Fulton County Police Department after he posted a snapchat video of himself "allegedly smoking weed" as his 1-year-old son, a child he shares with Amber Rella, sits on his lap. TMZ claims that Child Protective Services wants to chat with the rapper and ask him some questions. CPS is concerned and wants to know if this is something Quan normally does around his son. Law enforcement revealed that Quan could face possible criminal charges, including "endangering a child and reckless behavior." In the video below, Quan seems to be really relaxed while smoking as his son looks at the camera unaware of the harm the smoke is probably causing him.

After his video went viral, outraged fans and parents fired back at the social media clip gone wrong and demanded Quan delete the troubling footage. Following news of an investigation, the "Type of Way" rapper apologized to everyone that was offended.

In the Instagram message below, Quan wrote: "First off, I would like to apologize to my son, (Royal) my fans and all the parents around the world. By no means would I do anything to hurt my son or any kid in the world." The rapper claimed that he regretted his choice to continue smoking in front of his little boy and claimed that he realized the trouble he caused. "I regret that I chose to continue to smoke once Royal jumped in my lap. After looking back on it I realize my error and I am sorry for my actions. I would also like to take the time to let people around the world know that this pedestal that I have been placed upon I do not take it for granted but I need people to understand that I am only human and I make mistakes just like anyone else. In spite of this situation I will continue to strive to be the best parent I can be. Thanks RHQ!!"
