With the first season cliffhanger leaving audiences hanging, the CW network has plans underway for Season 2 of The Flash. Will Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) realize he has to step up his game after seeing Jay Garrick (Teddy Sears), the Crimson Comet, in costume?

In our first season recap, Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) awoke from his coma, after being struck by lightning. Given super-speed powers, Barry belonged to small group of friends, Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker), and Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes), who know his secret identity. They worked together against super villains, including Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), and teamed up with the Arrow (Stephen Amell). But they never realized their true enemy was lurking within their midst, the Reverse-Flash (Tom Cavanagh).

We mentioned before, Teddy Sears will play the recurring role of Jay Garrick, the Silver Age Flash. Viewers caught a glimpse of Jay's iconic winged helmet in the first season finale. In his arrival, Jay warns Barry and his team at S.T.A.R. Labs about an impending danger that he alone cannot stop. Barry and Jay then embark on a mentor/protege as they learn more about the Speed Force.

According to Washington Post, the Masters of Sex actor posted a snapshot of himself in full garb. On his official Instagram account, the superhero suit pays homage to the pages of DC Comics. Just like in the comic books, Sears is wearing the staple winged metal hat. His red sweater-looking outfit is replaced this time with leather though. Notice how there is a lightning logo on the fabric itself.
