Matt Barnes, Travis Scott Beef Over Rihanna? NBA Star Still Lying Over Affair

NBA baller Matt Barnes is still standing by his claims that he was romantically involved with pop star, Rihanna.

TMZ cameras caught up with the Memphis Grizzlies athlete who was asked about his alleged hookup with the "B*tch Betta Have My Money" celebrity, "Hey man, like I said Im too grown to lie." It is what it is."

In August, Matt told TMZ that he was getting involved with the A-lister, "Rihanna is my friend right now," he said. "So we will see where it goes." He added they "just passed the crush stage."

Rihanna fired back with several hashtags denying the reports, "#bishwhere #thedevilisaliar #shesnotthatintoyou #shesnotintoyouatall #shesneverevenmetyou#thisactuallyhurtmyfeelings #defamationofcharacter."

As for the NBA star feeling any anger towards Rihanna, he simply brushes off the embarrassing moment, "I don't got no beef with nobody. I ain't got a reason. Ain't no reason to have beef."

In an interview with Jim Rome, Matt said that he regrets pouring out to the public, "You live and you learn. When you're in a situation like this and, you know, you just learn. You just got to keep stuff to yourself obviously," Barnes said. "But the way I'm putting it right now, I'm too grown to lie, you know what I mean. It is what it is, I'm going to let this blow by like everything else blows by."

When asked what was his reaction after Rihanna blew his world up with a simple Instagram post and hilarious hashtags, he said, "I just smiled. I just smiled, that's it," Barnes said. "What can you do? At the end of the day we're all grown-ups. Like I said I'm too grown to be lying about stuff but life is life. You live and you learn."
