Nicki Minaj, Myx Moscato Raising Money for Breast Cancer Awareness Through Bottle Sales

Nicki Minaj has teamed with Myx Moscato, which she is a co-owner of, in order to raise money for breast cancer awareness. The Pinkprint rapper revealed on her Instagram page that the company will be donating $1 to the American Breast Cancer Foundation for each special bottle that is sold in stores.

Myx Moscato has come up with a special limited edition pink bottle for the occasion, which also incorporates Minaj’s signature printed on the label of each drink. The month of October is in honor of breast cancer awareness, so the offer will only be going on until the start of November.

This isn’t the first time that Minaj has dabbled in helping to raise money and awareness for cancer. In 2010, the hip-hop star partnered with Systemax, CompUSA and TigerDirect for their fourth annual drive, with the purpose to raise funds for Susan G. Komen for the Cure. This was around the same time that she dropped her debut album, Pink Friday, which she spoke about in a Skype interview for the drive.

“I fully support the efforts of Pink Friday and their goal of raising funds to support Susan G. Komen for the Cure and their charge to bring an end to breast cancer. I am pleased to be associated with the PINK FRIDAY initiatives and to raise awareness amongst fellow African-American women, who are often the hardest hit by breast cancer,” she said at the time of the collaboration.

If you would like to help the “Anaconda” hip-hop star and Myx raise money for breast cancer, then be sure to purchase one of her limited edition moscato bottles. Otherwise, you can find more ways to help out the American Breast Cancer Foundation by heading over to their website.
