Jimmy Fallon in Hospital Following Fall at Harvard Injuring His Hand [WATCH]

Jimmy Fallon took a huge fall over the weekend, and ended up in the hospital after he was awarded the Harvard Lampoon's Elmer Award for Excellence in Humor. According to Gossip Cop, the Tonight Show host tripped over a woman while holding a bottle of Jagermeister during an after party, and it was all caught on camera.

Before the fall, Fallon was enjoying himself, wearing a wreath on his head during his ceremony.

The comedian took a chariot to the Harvard Lampoon's building, and was given the crown for "Emperor of Comedy." In the next video clip, Fallon appeared to okay before leaving the after party to go get his finger wrapped in a bandage.

After tripping, Fallon was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital, where he was treated for his right hand. In a snapshot, Fallon updated everyone to let them know that his was just fine, and wrote: "Nothing that a few band aids couldn't fix."

A source revealed to People magazine, "everything is totally fine," adding that, "It was all part of the celebration in the street and some random girl kneeled down in front of him abruptly as he was turning around and he tripped over her because he didn't see her."

The Tonight Show host is the seventh person to be honored with the Elmer Award. He goes down in history with other recipients, including: Robin Williams, former Tonight Show host Jay Leno, and John Cleese, Billy Crystal, and Tracey Ullman.
