'Teen Mom 2' Kailyn Lowry Talks Leah Messer Losing Custody of Twins, Confirms Season 7 Filming

Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer is still reeling from losing custody of her twin girls to ex-husband Corey Simms, but her costars have stayed quiet about the situation until now. Castmate Kailyn Lowry talked for the first time about her reaction to her fellow MTV "teen mom" having to give up guardianship after a season of drama and custody battles as well as what's in store for season seven!

While at Star Magazine's "Scene Stealer" party in Los Angeles, Kailyn was asked about her beleaguered costar, but remained coy about the situation with Leah.

"I don't know much about it," she told Wetpaint. "Whatever's happening, I wish her the best."

The Love & Lowry designer told The Ashley Reality Roundup much of the same, "To be honest, I don't really know the details of what's happening with Leah's custody case, but I feel for her. I hope for the best for her and the kids, though."

Kailyn did, however, divulge to Wetpaint some secrets of what to expect next season on the hit reality series. It will be her seventh year doing the show and it looks like her entrepreneurial endeavors will be showcased.

"My book party will be filmed and then hopefully some projects with interior design and some partnerships with that," she said, referring to her new children's book Love Is Bubblegum.

As MStars News reported, there is a feud brewing amongst the cast after a couple of girls have felt MTV shouldn't have paid for Leah's rehab expenses. The West Virginia mom maintained she needed to go to a rehabilitation center for therapy and not for an alleged drug addiction.

"[Chelsea Houska and Kailyn] think that the rehab expenses should come out of the other girls' paychecks, or they should get the cash equivalent of what MTV spends on rehab for their castmates," a source told The Ashley. "They are responsible and don't cause the producers any problems."
