Robert Pattinson Shades Indie Films [HOAX]: 'Fake' Fame Saves FKA Twigs Engagement?

Apparently, 29-year-old British heartthrob Robert Pattinson will embrace superficial "fame and fortune" simply to please fiancee, FKA Twigs. Did Pattinson really change his attitude and outlook just to save his faltering engagement?

According to the seedy gossip webloid Celeb Dirty Laundry, Twigs clearly controls the relationship - and all she really cares about is making it "big" in Hollywood. And Pattinson's ready to do whatever it takes to please his "Pendulum" muse!

So, instead of avoiding the spotlight, the former "Twilight" cutie will now take advantage of such media attention:

"Before, I was drunk in every interview," R-Patz supposedly revealed during a recent interview with Neon magazine. "Now I go to the gym every morning and say to myself. 'Woah , you've changed.'"

Does that truly sound like something Pattinson would confess, or is CDL just fabricating another "shocking" gossip story?

And what do MstarsNews readers take of his new appeal to mainstream film?

"My advice to all young actors - avoid independent film to earn as much money as you can, as fast as possible. After that, enjoy what you want."

Sounds just a bit too shady...

Despite his worldwide recognition as brooding vampire Edward Cullen (and Kristen Stewart's ex), Pattinson is a huge supporter of indie work. Would he really bash such movies, just to make Twigs happy?

First off, the 27-year-old English songstress is NOT this controlling, manipulative "monster." The couple's happy and content in their blossoming relationship, and that has nothing to do with Pattinson's "celebrity" image!

Safe to say that this latest report is entirely false.

Meanwhile, Pattinson continues working on several blockbuster (and small independent) films.

Sound-off in the comments section below! Will this loving pair tie the knot soon?
