Oscars Host Chris Rock Slammed by Andy Kindler on 'CONAN'? 'Top Five' Film Star Mocked on TBS

Comedian Andy Kindler made a stopover on Wednesday night's episode of CONAN to discuss ... something. But really, who cares; Kindler is typically a fun guest all around. Anyway, during his panel, the oh-so-bitter comedian made some jokes against fellow comic, and newly announced Oscars host, Chris Rock, that might be taken as a little bit of a slam.

Of course, Kindler did compliment Rock in the process as well.

After stepping out to his seat alongside host Conan O'Brien – in what the host called "the most joyless entrance" he's ever seen – Kindler joked that it's his edginess that prevents him from shooting up to the stars.

"My act is like walking on a tightrope on the ground," he said. "You know what I mean?" And, well, no, O'Brien didn't.

Kindler further explained that his act is very similar to Chris Rock's – minus the "charisma," the "confidence" and the "material."

See? Compliment! But then came this: "Why don't I have Chris Rock's career?" Kindler asked. "I can say things twice!"

And of course, he then repeated it and demanded, "WHERE'S MY TOP FIVE?!"

Naturally our guess is that Kindler was joking about Rock. Though, then again, it is Andy Kindler and he has been known to have an issue or two with some other comedians. And, yes, other people:

So, was he kidding, folks?
