'Tonight Show': Bill O’Reilly Tells Republican Candidates at GOP Debates to “Stop Complaining”
When Bill O'Reilly yells, his party tends to listen, so maybe there's hope for the GOP yet? With reports coming out that some of the right wing candidates are banning together to change the rules of presidential debates in the future – following the supposed disaster that was last week's CNBC GOP debate – Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon decided to bring in the big guns.
The O'Reilly Factor host Bill O'Reilly appeared on Tuesday night's episode of The Tonight Show during Fallon's monologue to basically tell his party to "stop complaining" about the debates.
"There's a lot of controversy around these Republican debates," Fallon said, noting that candidates Chris Christie, Donald Trump and Carly Fiorina have refused to sign the letter that calls for a change to the debate format.
The former Saturday Night Live star – and guy who cannot stop falling down – then noted that it appears "no one is happy" with the current situation. Therefore, he decided to settle the issue by bringing out the oh-so-controversial Fox News host.
So, O'Reilly's demands for the next debate?
1. Stop complaining.
2. Answer the question.
3. Trump must take it down to a 6.
"If anyone gets to yell that loud on Fox News, it should be me!" O'Reilly ended his bit with. Which, yeah, makes sense—since he has a history.
After the bit, O'Reilly sat panel with Fallon and discussed what happened at the CNBC debate. It appears that the Fox News host feels it was more so a disaster for CNBC, noting that moderators should be tough on presidential candidates, but it goes south when things become hostile.
The next Republican debate will be Tuesday, Nov. 10, on the Fox Business Channel.
