AMC's 'Into The Badlands' Sneak Peek: Daniel Wu/Sunny, Emily Beecham/Widow Fight Scene!

From the creators of Smallville, AMC brings viewers tons of martial arts and drama with Into The Badlands. before the upcoming season premiere, check out this sneak peek, featuring Sunny (Daniel Wu) and The Widow (Emily Beecham) in their highly orchestrated fight scene.

From the AMC plot synopsis, the freshmen drama consists of six-episodes, The storyline is loosely based on the Chinese tale, Journey To The West. As the western frontier is now controlled by feudal barons, a ruthless and well-trained warrior named Sunny (Wu) finds himself on a trip with a young boy. The two will embark on a journey across a dangerous land to find enlightenment.

According to Deadline, not only does the Hong Kong actor play the lead of the martial arts drama, Wu also will also serve as executive producer. Wu and Beecham join the cast alongside Sarah Bolger and Oliver Stark. David Dobkin will be directing the pilot. Known for their work on Smallville, Al Gough and Miles Millar are the showrunners of this genre-bending action series.

As TV Line reports, The Widow is introduced as a TV character you definitely don't want to piss off. AMC has unveiled a two-minute fight sequence from the upcoming martial arts drama. The action-packed scene features the lethal beauty known The Widow (played by Beecham).

On his official Instagram account, Wu shares a snapshot and writes, "#intothebadlands premiering Nov 16 in Asia! Same time as the States and the replayed at 10pm. #AMC #amcasia #amctv #amc_global"
