Dunkin' Donuts Releases Holiday Cups Following Starbucks Controversy with Angry Christians

Folks, if you're not a fan of Starbucks as of late based on their whole red holiday cup controversy – speaking to you, Christians – then you may want to head over to Dunkin' Donuts. It's being reported that the coffee chain has released a holiday cup of their own. And much to the satisfaction of Christmas (and God) lovers everywhere, these ones are littered with joy.

Seriously, the cups say the word "joy" on them alongside some Christmas-like snowflakes and colors of red and green. You know, like a Christmas tree!

See...

Starbucks' red holiday cups have been national news this week, as some fans of the coffee giant found themselves in shock, awe and anger over the fact that the new holiday cups, which we all wait for every year, are simplistic – showing nothing but a gradient of red. In the years prior, the holiday cups from Starbucks displayed images of snowflakes, trees, red present bows, and more.

Starbucks' vice president of Design & Content, Jeffrey Fields, said of the new cups, "In the past, we have told stories with our holiday cups designs. This year we wanted to usher in the holidays with a purity of design that welcomes all of our stories ... We are embracing the simplicity and the quietness of it. It's a more open way to usher in the holiday."

Say what you want, Fields, some of your customers are pisssssed. Just saying.

Readers, what do you think of the cups? We know GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump doesn't seem to care for them – and he has a Starbucks in his home lobby!
