Americans Among 129 Dead in Paris Following Alleged Terror Attacks

Memorials for the 129 victims are growing larger every day after an alleged terror attack unfolded in the French capital, Paris over the weekend. MStars News has learned that Americans seem to be among the dead following the massacre.

According to NBC NewsNohemi Gonzalez was identified as one of the victims who died at a restaurant where terrorist attacked on Friday night. Gonzalez was only 23 years old and a student at California State University-Long Beach. She was in France studying for a semester at Strate College of Design in Sèvres.

There were also 352 injured when seven attackers started shooting in cafes, detonated suicide bombs near the city's stadium where a soccer match against Germany was going on and killed hostages that were attending a concert as the American rock band, Eagles of Death Metal were performing.

The band wrote via Facebook after the attack on Friday: "We are still currently trying to determine the safety and whereabouts of all our band and crew. Our thoughts are with all of the people involved in this tragic situation."

President Francois Hollande promised his country that France would "wage merciless war on the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria ISIS." The terrorist group claimed responsibly for the tragic massacre.

Paris is now black, as the famous Eiffel Tower remains blacked-out, and closed while the city mourns. Shops and some of markets have been closed for safety.

One survivor of the attacks named Isobel Bowdery wrote a message about her encounter with the killers and said that she never believed that she would be a person inside of a concert running for her life. She also posted a photo of the shirt she wore that was covered in blood after she pretend to be dead so that she wouldn't be shot.
