‘Conan in Armenia’ Preview [VIDEO]: Team Coco Teases Episode, Emotional Moment with Assistant

Conan O'Brien recently took a trip with his assistant, Sona Movsesian, to Armenia. The episode will reportedly air on Tuesday, Nov. 17, on TBS and will feature a number of scenes of O'Brien mingling with the Armenian culture – much in the way CONAN in Cuba did some time ago. In an effort to further nudge at our anticipation, Team Coco has just released a teaser for the episode, and from one look, there's a pretty shocking emotional scene.

Toward the end of the preview, O'Brien and Movsesian discuss her family, who are from Armenia—hence the whole reason they went. While chatting details about her grandfather, Movsesian breaks down in tears. And instead of making a joke, O'Brien, quite astutely, lets the moment sit.

It's an emotional side of Team Coco that viewers don't often have the pleasure of seeing, but it's one that cannot be missed.

Of course, the clip isn't all emotion; O'Brien can be seen doing his usual antics of making himself the butt of the joke. Sadly, for Movsesian, her mere appearance with the comedian further means that she, too, must be part of the quip.

Which she seems to do just fine with.
