Amy Poehler, Tina Fey to Host ‘SNL’ with Bruce Springsteen for Christmas Episode

If you're looking to completely skip over Thanksgiving and head right into Christmas mode, then look no further than Saturday Night Live's Twitter and Instagram accounts. The sketch show recently released word that the Christmas episode will be hosted by both Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. Adding in his signature New Jersey spice is iconic musician, Bruce Springsteen.

Will he perform that legendary version of "Santa Claus is Comin' to Town"? Well, we'll have to see. But we can't see him not appearing in a sketch.

The network also reported that Ryan Gosling will host on Dec. 5 alongside musical guest Leon Bridges, as well as Chris Hemsworth on Dec. 12 with Chance the Rapper- but seriously, we want that Christmas goodness.

And we want it now!

After all, what else is December good for?

Anyway, here's the message:

Our guess is the upcoming Christmas episode may be more talked about than GOP hopeful Donald Trump's recent episode – which was recently (and exclusively!) discussed with actor John Leguizamo, by the way – but we doubt there will be nearly as many protestors.

If any.

Both Fey and Poehler have sat in as hosts of the famed NBC series in the past, after having served on the show as key players for quite some time. In fact, Fey was once-upon-a-time a writer on the show before becoming a performer and, ultimately, the Weekend Update anchor with now Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon.

After Fallon vacated the Update seat, Poehler stepped in and the two comedians kept it going for quite some time.

So, in the end, while you're waiting for that Christmas episode, at least you'll be able to enjoy Matthew McConaughey's SNL spot, which takes place this coming Saturday, Nov. 21.
