Winter is slowly approaching and that means big sweaters, leggings, hot cocoa and marshmallows. Let's not forget your favorite holidays, Thanksgiving and Christmas! According to Yahoo, Turkey Day food can add two to four pounds, not including the days your eating leftovers. Before you know it, midriff mishaps occur with Thanksgiving comfort food and your belly size has increased by the time Spring arrives. Say goodbye to those sexy summer abs!

Whomp, whomp, whomp...

There is nothing more embarrassing than not feeling totally comfortable with your body; clothes don't fit quite the same anymore and a small tire-like feature might begin to form around the area, unfortunately. But don't worry, MStars News is here to provide some tricks that are sure to prevent that bikini body from ever going anywhere!

Fitness guru, and Baltimore Jay Cutler Classic Figure Overall Winner, Devone Martin, decided to lend four of the fitness practices she uses on a daily basis. Also, check out Women's Day for easy waist shaping exercises.

Let's look at the practices:

Increase Cardio
Running is a great way to shed pounds and keep them off. Warm up with some stretches and light jogging for about ten minutes. Turn the speed up between 8-10 mph with at least a 4-6 percent incline. Sprint for 30 seconds and then rest for 30 seconds. Repeat for 15 minutes.

Lower Carbohydrates
Although some high-carb foods contain valuable nutrients like fiber, minerals and vitamins, consume carbohydrates in moderation for successful weight loss.

High Reps, Low Weight
Not everyone is appeased with lifting weights. In fact, most people think by lifting weights they are going look to bulky. When you use high reps and low weights, it tones your arms, back and shoulders, and it lifts your chest a bit. With ten mintues of warming up and 15 minutes of intense cardio, your legs are sure to build muscle fast; do not let your top half fall behind.

Check out the video below to see examples of some arm and shoulder exercies.

Detox
There are many different detox programs to try. One drink that you can sip every morning is a hot cup of water mixed with a fresh squeezed lemon.
