50 Cent, Erin Andrews Explains Awkward Kiss [VIDEO]: Reporter Admits "It Was My Fault," Thinks Rapper Is "The Best," Plus Reenactment Clip!

Erin Andrews was simply looking for Danika Patrick at the Daytona 500 when she ran into 50 Cent who was just trying to be polite with a nice kiss on the cheek. We all know how that turned out. But now since the excitement has died down, Andrews has the chance to explain the awkward exchange. During the 2013 FOX Sports Upfront After Party in New York City on Tuesday, Erin admitted that the whole affair was her fault. Stating:

"It was my fault. I was rushed - none of the drivers were in their spot for the Daytona 500 pit walk. They were all in the bathroom. Everybody was supposed to be in their spot and then they all went to the bathroom and I was screwed [...] I went and said hello [to him]. We're actually business partners - I'm one of the spokespeople for SK Energy. He grabbed me, I went one way, they screamed 'Danica,' I whipped my neck, I got whiplash and it's fine. As long as he makes me a lot of money with SK energy, I'll be happy!"

The former "Dancing With The Stars" contestant hopes that the incident can be cleared up now, saying that she would never actually snub the rapper. "He's the best. I mean, come on." To prove that the whole situation was a misunderstanding and not serious, Erin and “reenacts” the notorious kiss diss with “Extra” interviewer A.J. Calloway. Video here:

While searching for NASCAR star Danica Patrick, the 34-year-old Andrews spots the 37-year-old rap star and attempts to get the moment on camera. Unfortunately for Erin, the rapper turned actor (born Curtis Jackson) had something else in mind: a kiss. Sure it might have been fine, but Andrews was clearly trying to avoid it with everything she had which resulted in at least 2 full head turns and then a long smooch on her left cheek. The best part is that Andrews immediately continued her quest to find Patrick with 50 Cent following right behind her for some reason.
