LeBron James Wedding Day Set, Savannah Brinson [PHOTO]: Miami's Royal Couple Make Big Plans with 'Save The Weekend' Invitation
LeBron James and fiancé Savannah Brinson have officially announced their wedding date by sending out their own take on "Save The Date" invitations. King and (soon-to-be) Queen James have asked invitees to "save the weekend" of September 13 to September 15. It seems like the Miami Heat star and his bride are planning a big wedding bash. The nuptials will take place in San Diego.
One problem with the wedding already is that the weekend that LeBron and Savannah chose is the beginning of Yom Kippur. So some Jewish guests might not be showing up or they might just skip the day of repentance to party it up with James.
The "Save The Date" also comes with a caricature picture of LeBron, Savannah, and their two sons LeBron Jr. and Bryce. Each member of the family is dressed in their best wedding attire and are piloting a plain to San Diego.
LeBron proposed to Savannah after his 27th birthday on New Years 2012. The two were high school sweethearts back in Ohio and have been together ever since, having two kids along the way.
Check out a photo of the "Save The WEEKEND" notification over at TMZ. There is also a picture at the bottom featuring LeBron and Rabbi Yishayahu Yosef Pinto who will most likely be missing the wedding for religious reasons.
So what do you think of this "Save The Weekend" note? Is the cartoon too much or is it cute? Do you think the fact that it interferes with Yom Kippur will be a big deal? Who do you think will be there? Just imagine that guest list. What kind of entertainment will be provided? Do you think they went with a band or a DJ? Or will it just be Jay-Z or something? We'll have to wait and see.
