In preparation for the Dec. 4 launch of its musical comedy film, A Very Murray Christmas, Netflix has released a new trailer for the special. The trailer features the first glimpse of George Clooney singing, as well as Miley Cyrus, Bill Murray and more.

The special is written and directed by Sofia Coppola of Lost in Translation fame. Bill Murray and Mitch Glazer (Scrooged, Rock the Kasbah) also penned the script.

A Very Murray Christmas follows Murray, who is supposed to do a cabaret set in the Carlyle Hotel on live TV. Everything goes wrong when the weather interferes, which provides all sorts of interesting situations (after all, the special is an homage to old time variety shows). Viewers can expect to see Amy Poehler, Julie White, Chris Rock, Maya Rudolph, Rashida Jones, Jenny Lewis, Jason Schwartzman, George Clooney, Miley Cyrus and of course, Bill Murray dance and sing off their woes to the tune of the holiday spirit.

Variety is calling the special, which is short at just 56 minutes, "an artisanal bon bon" that is "meant to be nibbled while wrapping presents or sampling eggnog." And while Murray's vocals aren't perfect, they said, "The actor brings a unique blend of spontaneity, sadness and screwball optimism to his characters, and those qualities infuse his singing with a depth of feeling that bigger and better belters often can't supply."

The trailer provides a peek at the star studded cast in each of their various "roles" -- technically, they all play themselves -- with particular emphasis on Miley Cyrus's numbers sung atop a piano. The clip also provides the first shot of George Clooney hilariously singing to "Santa Claus Wants Some Lovin.'"

Clooney, Cyrus and the rest of the cast will be jingling into living rooms in every country in which Netflix streams on Dec. 4.
